Great food, we had the Paneer Pekora, Chicken Mekhani, and Lamb Achari with some Roti. I ordered when I arrived and everything was ready in about 10 minutes or so. Everything was delicious and I will be back for more.

Tan Mahal is my favorite Indian restaurant in Cedar Rapids (and possibly my favorite restaurant period). The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, the food is always amazing, and the store side of the restaurant has many ingredients that I can’t find in other grocery stores. 1000/10!

We used to enjoy eating here before today. We arrived about 15 minutes after opening. Two other tables of two at that time. Food was barely warm and selections were more limited on the buffet. I understand costs have increased dramatically but at $13.99 a person for lunch, we expected hot food and better quality. The worst part though was the uncleanliness. The white ceiling fans weren't running and the filth on the blades was disgusting. The black pepper shaker that was at our table was terribly sticky. Not the Valentine's Day lunch we were looking forward to.

The food looked so good I had to try a little bit of everything! I love the staff! So kind! And even asked for our autograph haha 😆 first time going and HIGHLY recommend! The NAAN bread was my favorite! I loved it so much I couldn’t keep eating but still tried! And the Chair tea was *chefs Kiss*
