A beautiful campground with miles of trails, great shower house. Cedar River is right there, great for boating, fishing and has a beach. Always wear a life vest, the current here can be strong, A young girl lost her life while I was here. Geocache nearby. I had a very fortunate stay with friendly campers, I made friends with all my neighbors.

This is an absolutely beautiful park, a must visit for easy and moderate hiking. The campground looks very inviting...I'll have to go back and stay awhile! Also, they have several nice looking cabins with AC!

Beautiful park. Great for a medium level hike. I hiked around in the winter, might revisit in the spring time.

This park is a beautiful collection of hiking trails close to two metro areas. Drive in from Cedar Rapids or Coralville to enjoy the woods, hills, and river. There are a number of camping options with clean, modern bathrooms. For this who are interested, you can get right in the Cedar River for some floating or swimming. Beware river tides and rapids.

Trails are not wheelchair friendly. I believe that some of the rental cabins are wheelchair accessible.
