My family and I are beyond happy with our Goldendoodle, Kya, from Apricot Poodle and Doodles! Kya is such a sweetheart with a great personality and temperament. She makes us laugh with her silliness. Ashely the breeder is wonderful. She responded to all my questions and concerns promptly. Her family and her are very kind and welcoming. They were open to visits which was great! We have only been in business for a year and a half, having three litters. Our pricing for our first litter was much less because we were building our reputation, our pricing for the second was $2,200 and due to the demand for puppies and increased interest, our litter pricing for Bailey's apricot puppies are $2,900 currently but may change. Our prices will be higher for Scarlett's litter since we plan on having Red doodles (which are more rare) by her and those will be sold for $3,500.
Goldendoodles are a mix of poodle and golden retriever. The American Kennel Club states that Goldendoodles must have their hips/heart/patellas/elbows checked as well as several genetic disorders that are common with these pure breeds. We health test all our dogs according to the AKC standards for both breeds.
Our previous 3 litters have been F1b Goldendoodles. They are 75% poodle and 25% English Cream retriever. We may have a litter of F1 Goldendoodles (50% of each) this year though, not sure yet.
