My wife was there. First upon her arrival she was put into bed by the eMTs It took over e hours for any staff went to check on her. And that was because we complained. Second getting her her meds was always a struggle. Sometimes they did not even have it. The nurses there are clearly overworked which means to me they are understaffed. You would complain and it would take hours to get help. Don’t get me wrong the nurses try but with the amount of patients they care for is scarey. PT there is great with a great and caring staff. The place to me is poorly run. I eventually took my wife home yes we packed her thing and left Think hard before sending a loved one here. My wife is on homehealth and is doing great. I hate to leave a bad review as there are some good hard working people here. But this is just not enough

Villa las palmas healthcare is a wonderful place to bring your loved one for care staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful i’ve been working here for almost 6 years and i love the atmosphere and fun energy that staff bring to the residents here at villa las palmas healthcare center

As my loved one called it, it’s a “snake pit”. Remember that this is a business, and while the nurses are great, the admin only cares about keeping someone in that bed for billing purposes. I can’t believe the run around that I got and the contradictions within days of speaking to the same person. My loved one is doing so much better at home. Getting physical therapy at home, getting care at home, and not being stuck in a wheelchair or bed for majority of the day. The facility is nice, but it’s all about the money and I experienced it first hand. This didn’t place a financial burden on us, so thanks for skating around the issue again.

I cannot share any information regarding the care of patients, my review is wholly centered on their financial department. My stepdaughter is being hounded to pay her fathers bill. They are taking her to collections, and she never even visited this place due to the COVID pandemic. There is no way she could have signed or co signed and document, and when asked to produce any proof of said, they have avoided my calls, avoided in producing any paperwork, and are not keeping their word. They fail to return calls when promised, yet still keep bill collectors after her. She is trying to buy a home, the collection attempts might ruin her attempts. I would be very worried to do business with any business that puts family members into collections for other family members debts especially when no paperwork was signed. I will gladly remove or modify this review only after they keep their word and produce the paperwork they state they have. I was informed that there was a payment program arranged with the patient, so why his daughter is being hounded is beyond me. I do not know if the payment plan has been paid. I will keep you advised as this develops.
