Aka the wedge this is a great spot to watch body surfers and boogie boarders get in on the action. Surf can be rough here so use caution. The waves are amazing especially when a big swell comes in.

This is my get away spot. Found it after my husband passed in 1996...seems like a lot more people have found it as well. Its a lot more busy kinda hard to just sit n think now. But still enjoy going.

It's a good mile and a half stroll from the Balboa Beach Pier parking lot, highly suggested for a casual date. Parking is almost nonexistent closer to the park.

Awesome place to see the boats moving in and out of the Newport channel! At the end of Balboa Peninsula you can watch surfing, catch a glimpse of Catalina island and do some fun people watching! Met some very sweet people there😊.

There is no parking lot just spots in front of people's houses, park on the street and all depends on when you get there if there's any spots. But I've always found a spot you might have to walk a block or two but, I normally ride my bike there but I live fairly close.
