My Sister and I had a Wonderful time at Live Oak. The Tree's are Amazing! The Playground was so fun for the Kids! Lovely property. Will visit again for sure!

Nice hidden gem of a park. This is a really beautiful park. The oak trees are many and the temperature is always pleasant. Nice walking trails. Great place for a nice family BBQ. Play ground area for all. The restrooms are clean.

This is a 27-acre picturesque park filled with live oaks, walking paths, benches, various picnic areas, BBQs, and a small stream. The oak trees are stunning and provide the most beautiful filtered light for taking photos! The shade provided by these majestic trees would also provide the perfect respite from the heat during the summer. There's also a great playground area (which was closed off due to covid-19), various sports fields, basketball courts, and a leash-free dog area which is open Thurs-Tues. The park has a cool amphitheater with fixed tiered seating, as well as adjacent picnic areas, rest rooms and a dance pavilion which provide a beautiful natural setting for weddings or other private events. There is a $3 per vehicle day-use fee, or you can get an annual pass for $25. We visited on a recent Sunday right before more Covid lockdowns. The lot was unmanned, playground area was closed off and the park was not at all crowded. We stopped to stroll around and check the park out on our way to Oceanside, but will definitely be back to spend more time here! Our grandkids would love this park when they come to visit.

This is a great place to bring the kids. There's a playground, restrooms and lots of tables available for parties. Certain spots are great for weddings also. The park is always clean and patrolled by the park people. You do have to pay for parking which is $3 the last time I went and they are close in the evening time and overnight.

Yes! The parking lots are large enough to park rvs. Over 55 senior citizens and disabled people park Free. Ask at the booth. Enjoy!!!
There is a fee $5, and yes there are bbq grills there
I wouldn't recommend it. Its a small entrance off a busy road.
Have you tried Santa Margarita preserve? Pretty cool
Depends on the site you want to reserve. All the information is on the park website. The range is anywhere from 75-300$

In days gone by it was a native village but with the arrival of the white eyes things changed.
