The cashier was super nice and helpful. I went in to get my boyfriend lunch. There were no customers at the deli so I thought I could get his lunch and leave without a wait. I ordered and waited. There must have been a large call in order in front of me because I had to wait 20 minutes or so. I got the food and went to give it to my boyfriend. Late. When he picked up the bag the whole bottom was wet with grease. He took the food out of the bag. I got him a Philly cheesesteak wrap so he could eat it in my car without a hassle. Boy was that a huge mistake! When he opened up the paper wrapper, the wrap was so greasy that it was nasty looking. He tried to pick it up to eat it and it slid apart. Every bit of the meat and veggies slid out of the wrap. He could not pick it up at all! He ended up not being able to eat this nasty monstrosity! So my boyfriend didn't get lunch 😤 now I know that Git n Go has great food! I've had it several times and I know many people who eat it often. I don't know what happened tonight. But I'm not happy about it because my boyfriend had to go back in to work without supper.

I have been getting take out here since I was a kid. It was a ritual my father and I had together. When I started working, I would frequent this place for food since they were always open. I can understand things change, but there is no excuse for lack of quality, and inept employees. Recently something has changed for the worst. We typically give places at least three chances before we stop buying stuff, but we have given Git N Go many more chances, over several years; recently, the employees seem like they couldn't care less, either outside smoking or chatting each other up, or on their personal phones. I realize people need breaks sometimes, but when I was in the service industry, we also realized when customers are in the building, you get to them or you have someone else cover for you. Anyway, this last time, the food wasn't terrible, but our order was completely wrong, and they left part of it out so we had to turn around and go back. They also left out the pickles and peppers. It has become a running joke in our household because it seems every other time we order from Git N Go, something is wrong with our order. It seems no one knows how to use the sandwich steamer. One of our items seemed like it was reheated which not only ruins the quality, it's unhealthy. Making a sandwich is not rocket science. Do I need to come in there and show these people how it's done? hahaha I know the quality Git N Go expects because I experienced it for years. This lack of it seems it's just lack of discipline, lack of pride in one's work, and laziness. Hey I get it. The food service doesn't pay well, I worked in it a long time. What employees need to realize is you build work experience and ethics in any job. When you allow the quality and pride in your work to wane, you begin to internalize and accept those bad habits as acceptable. It makes you almost unemployable in other professions because you inadvertently lack a proper work ethic, and ability to recognize details and discipline. You become lazy, and expect that as the norm. I don't know at what point it became normal for employees to "do their own thing" on the clock, but whatevvs.

I make it a habit to stop by Git N Go every time I am in Clinton. The gas prices are generally the best around. The facility is always clean and neat. The employees are fabulous BUT most of all the Hot Dawgs are the best! I usually get a few Hot Dogs but I have also tried several other items. Always fantastic food. I highly recommend Git N Go to anyone and everyone. :-)

The food is always awesome therefore anytime I'm in Clinton I stop.While waiting on food,I used the restroom and not once bt twice someone knocked,or should I say Banged on the door! I sd Yes someone is in here.When I walked out, one of the employees said..One of the employees has to use the bathroom and cant hold it..okay!!!?? That was very very rude.I understand everyone had to go bt that was ridiculous. There's even a sign on the door tht says..If door is Locked,its in Use**** then I go to get my order,and the younger blonde girl says I called for you a long time ago! Not sure if all employees are jus miserable here or what bt Geez!
