such a cute spot!! it was pretty busy on a Friday night but service was fast and the place wasn't too loud to have a conversation. the pulled pork nachos were beyond bar food for sure. tap menu is pretty extensive too. classy place in a suburb where it's hard to find much other than sports bars. highly recommended :)

Great cocktail options and they were all yummy. Laid back atmosphere. When we went in, there was short on staffing, so we had to order at the bar. I didn't have issue with that. Staff was friendly and the wait for the food was decent even at short staffing. I recommend this place.

The drinks here never disappoints and the food is always 5 stars 🌟 we love that they have a whole array of games to play with friends while grabbing a drink and it's neat that they got a readers nook as well. Highly recommend to stop by this place soon!

After a trip out to see some of our favorite wineries, we ended up hungry — the 649 was both on our way and an outstanding choice! The extensive and interesting tap list won us over even though we didn’t know if we’d be in the mood after great wine — we especially loved the gigantic IPA and were impressed with the universal excellence of the breweries — and the food was absolutely delicious. When we asked for Secret Aardvark we were given a giant bottle immediately, a little thing which totally made our day. We’re also just so thrilled to be in such a welcoming space. Thanks for saving us from a long hungry rainy drive back into the city, 649 crew!

We are currently limiting our seating to our socially distanced outdoor patio tables, each fully heated and covered with 16’ foot ceilings and open on all sides. We are reservation-only for dine-in service, with an easy online system at visit.649bar.com, allowing us to ensure there are no folks waiting around and full tracing of contact information for every party. As always, we sanitize between customers and have multiple payment and ordering stations to ensure patrons are spread out even at the point-of-sale. For customers staying home, we offer full takeout, including on-site canning of any of our draft offerings and bottling of our cocktails to-go. We strictly enforce mask-wearing and will throw out any individuals who don’t take this pandemic seriously.
