Apt building has become dangerous. Any complaints were met with anger. Being a disabled person I voiced my concern, and asked for a ground floor apt when they turned off the elevator and just never turned it back on again. After my third fall down the stairs I was forced into assisted living. Nobody seemed to care, even though I was a good tenant for three years, and had never been late on my rent.

When I used them five years ago, Linda S. ruined my credit. This is a true story. They had a credit program that helped you pay off debt at a cheaper cost in return over control over your accounts. Every month she paid my bills late. She ended up paying them late so often it resulted in them showing as late payments on my CREDIT REPORT. This 503 Non profit cannot be sued. They took absolutely no self responsibility for their actions it took me months and months and months to get someone to talk to me. Their board members to this day take no responsibility. Linda was the only person that worked in this department, so you know how it goes, get transferred over to this person via phone wait for a day for a return call and nothing. I got called back by a manager who was clueless, there was such a lack of understanding and responsibility on their part it was amazing. I believe they got rid of this program, thank goodness. Poorly ran to say the least. The fact that this put me in a bind to meet my family’s end goal to buy a house was absolutely ridiculous. I bet if you ask one person working there today they would not even have any recollection of it because, you guessed it, no one even bothered to review the situation. Save yourself the headache and stay away from this poor excuse of a “non profit.” PLEASE TAKE CAUTION WHEN USING THEIR PROGRAMS THERE EXITS VERLY LITTLE LIABILITY ON THEIR END. We just tried to buy a truck and our interest rate is still effected by this. Edit** To this day we still have 4 late showings on our credit report. NO ONE CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So many people are unaware of all the great things that this organization is involved in. You should really check them out!! From Dream Savers to help with home repairs, opening a small business, vehicle purchase, furthering your education, or assistive technology to make an individual more employable, these people love to help others in the community!! They also have programs to help with Foreclosure Prevention, Lending Services, Housing Counselors, Dream Builders Program, and so much more.

They got my back taxes paid and I have to pay nothing back. They forgive 20% of the money they use every year so in 5 years it will be forgiven in full... Amazing people to work with as well, never felt like they looked down or thought less of me for needing help... Wonderful program, they actually wanted to help me,... All you can do is ask they seemed to have a number of program available just give them a call, never hurts to ask:)
