Of all the parishes in the area, I find St Francis to be the most welcoming to all faith traditions and backgrounds. It honors the Franciscan openness, and I highly encourage anyone new to the area to check it out! I went through the RCIA process here, was married, and my little girl was baptized here. Such a wonderful community - we're blessed to have this parish!

A very nice and modern looking church. As a catholic I would like to see a cross with crist and some angels or saints in the main room.

Everyone is friendly and outgoing. For a large church, it's very welcoming. The sanctuary is beautiful and the Mass was enjoyable.

Great church. The community is very kind and the pastors are funny during Mass.

Questions & Answers

Do they have communal confessions at St. Francis? And the kind where you do not meet individually with a priest? And if so, when? Thanks

You always meet face to face with a friar. Confession is at 4:30 Saturdays in the main church or you can schedule an appt. with a friar for another time.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is an expression of God’s forgiveness of our sins that reconciles the baptized with God and with the Church community. It is celebrated in Advent and Lent communally and individually at 4:30 pm on Saturday in the Reconciliation Room (inside the Eucharistic Chapel of Church).

What time is Mass on Sunday?

No

I would like to know why the Church is still having people drink out of the chalice when there is a serious flu epidemic. Also shaking of the hands is another way of spreading the flu. Why is the Church not addressing this problem?

Probably because that's how the church has done it for numerous years? If you are concerned with the flu, its probably best to get a flu shot.
