The food was tasty, but portions are small and you have to place your order before you can sit at a table. When you walk in you stand in line and have to order and pay at the bar, including tip for the upcoming service. You then pickup your order number and proceed to get your own utensils and water and find an open table to sit. Eventually the food comes, that is if you realize that you have to place your order number on the metal holder on the table, otherwise your server takes the food on a tour around the bar not sure what to do with it. Also that moment is the last time you see your server. I got the octopus taco which from my experience was too chewy, not what I expected. On the other hand, the lamb taco was good. The taco bawl was good too as well as the horchata barracha, though it was small of a portion.

We come here often & usually have only good things to say about it but last time we were there the older lady taking our order was pretty rude. We got 10 street tacos with 5 drinks and it was well over $100. We asked for another small taco shell for the leftover meat and the older lady wanted us to get back in line to pay for a soft shell. Maybe she was just having a really bad day but I couldn’t believe the customer service. The owner is awesome & does an incredible job. Very cool atmosphere and everything we’ve tried is very flavorful. The only negative is everything on the menu is fairly pricey, you don’t get very much food and some of the staff isn’t very friendly.

These people really know their way about hospitality! I am not one who likes self serve, stand in line to order places. Cochinito not only made that part enjoyable, but the drinks, food and service were exceptional. Tonight was our first time in, it was VERY busy, and every member of the team were on their toes, making success happen. I think they have a real success here, in a spot in Downtown Spokane, where many have failed before. This is not a Mexican restaurant, not even a taco restaurant. It is a place where you can get great flavors, satisfying portions, and terrific bevies too!

My husband and I ate here on Christmas Eve. I had the birria tacos and he had a combo with the chicken and birria. Our food was delicious, the guys there were fun and my blood orange margarita was wonderful! The vibe is fun and we'll definitely be back.

We allow children of all ages during all hours of business. We do not have a designated bar area, so children can sit anywhere in the restaurant
They had a daily special when we visited last week but I don't know about taco Tuesdays.
Hi, we are currently open for take out and delivery only. Curbside take out is available if you call in. Masks are mandatory, we have hand sanitizer available, plexiglass separations and are constantly cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces. NOTE: I believe that John Footpenis (answer below) is thinking of a different restaurant. We do not have a garage door, and are not yet allowing dine in. We do have plexiglass at the register. Sounds like a description of another restaurant downtown that also serves tacos.
Hi, We take limited reservations for parties of 8 or more. Otherwise we are first come first serve with orders placed at the counter before taking a seat. If you do have a larger party, please call us at 509-474-9618 Thanks
