Overall we had a mostly positive experience. We ate out on the patio on a cooler evening and were alone out there. The service, while friendly, was quite slow. Yes, this is a fine dining restaurant. And the food was quite tasty. But it is very expensive and the portions were pretty small considering the price. Also, apparently the BBQ Osprey is separate from the fine dining restaurant or they are separate menus or something...? It was very unclear but we wished we would've been able to order off the BBQ menu. The ambience is nice and the patio.is great. No question. But for the hype this place has received and the prices on the menu, I expected more I guess. There was nothing so bad that I wouldn't go back.

We had the privilege of eating at Osprey Restuarant & Bar after watching our daughter cheer for Stanford in their first Sweet 16 game tonight. I have anaphylactic food allergies and spoke to Chef Mike about creating something off menu that would be safe for me to eat. Since I was craving protein, we came up with 2 grilled bun-less osprey burgers with 10 year old aged white cheddar cheese melted over the top. Chef Mike suggested adding bacon and the onion/18-year-old balsamic jam as well. I cannot even begin to tell you how flavorful, juicy, and tasty this meal was!!! Thank you Chef Mike for creating such a delicious and safe meal for me!! I sincerely appreciate it!!

Our waiter Todd was fantastic, funny, informative and very attentive without being over bearing. He made our children special huckleberry lemonades with whipped cream and sprinkles because he said they looked like the whipped cream and sprinkle kind of kids which made them laugh because they are. The huckleberry was the perfect mix of sour and sweet and the cream made them taste a little like huckleberry Italian sodas. The food was delicious with huge servings, especially the first courses. We highly recommend the Burrata, the coconut curry carrot bisque and the truffle fries. In fact we'll be back just to order these. The burgers and sandwiches come with the truffle fries so it's recommended not to order additional but we ignored that recommendation because we loved the truffle fries that much. Husband enjoyed his Cuban with sweet potato fries, children loved their vegetarian avocado sammies with truffle fries and I was too full to eat my chicken sandwich because the first courses were huge meals in themselves. Will definitely go back.

Food and atmosphere was great. Lots of flavor. Truffle fries were wonderful with the rosemary sauce. Steak had a nice smoked flavor and the Shrimp Linguine was excellent with the he cream sauce and the peach bread pudding was perfect to finish it all off. Definitely coming back again.
