First off, I am not one to write a review, but I am eager to recognize Dr. Sand and his team. Dr. Sand is an extremity knowledgeable and talented surgeon! He also is a very caring person who spends time to explain procedures and answer any questions. I know this first hand because Dr. Sand reconstructed my broken nose. I have complete trust in him and his craft. Paster Joe from Life Center Church lead a sermon asking who is the most important person in your life. Answer: the person you are with. Dr. Sand models this truth. His staff is also very kind and nurturing. They genuinely care for every guest in their clinic like you are family. And Kaitlyn is exceptional at Botox and laser treatments! Lastly, the clinic is very clean.

Dr. Sands is very pleasant physician and provides excellent service. From the moment you enter this office , the entire staff is welcoming and conveys concern for you. The entire experience was well coordinated, instructions were clear and everything happens just as they tell you. I would recommend Dr.Sands office and surgical expertise to anyone. Best thing I’ve ever done for myself is finally getting my nose corrected functionally and aesthetically, I am so glad I chose to go to this office!!

My experience with Dr. Sand & his staff has been nothing short of amazing! He was able to answer every question I had about the surgery (Rhinoplasty) as well as amazing post op care. As for my nose, I have 3 words.....I LOVE IT!! So far I'm about 1 month post op & the result really speak for themselves, everychange i wanted was taken into account & i couldn't be happier. Thank you for your question. Rhinoplasty costs can vary widely depending on if insurance is utilized for breathing correction or if the procedure is only cosmetic in nature. The average younger ages for rhinoplasty can be between 16-18, but this needs to be discussed during a consultation to go over the relative positives and negatives of the procedure at a younger age.
Recovery from nasal surgery can depend on the type of surgery performed. Typically, a nasal cast, sutures and possibly nasal splints are usually placed during surgery and then removed at 6-7 days post-operatively. Nasal packing is rarely, if ever, used. Most patients are able to breath through their nose immediately following surgery, and often better than before. In general, one should expect 7-10 days of bruising following nasal surgery. Swelling following surgery can last for weeks to months and does require patience during the healing process to achieve the final product. Depending on the extent of the surgery, and whether a closed or open approach was utilized, the recovery may differ. A closed approach may lead to less swelling and bruising, but sometimes an open approach is necessary. Icing in the first 2-3 days is very important and often arnica and be utilized to help reduce bruising. Nasal saline spray is helpful during the healing to keep the nasal cavity moist.
