I may have a soft spot for barbecue but I really enjoyed this meal. I had a pulled pork sandwich and fries and both were hot and tasty. The pork was tender and had a really good smokey taste. I got the hot barbecue and it was well balanced of hot and sweet. The fries were amazing, I ate all of mine and those who didn't finish theirs. Someone in my party got the spicy shrimp and though it may not be traditional barbecue it was excellent. The service was good considering how busy they were. The only downside to this place is you have to fight the boardwalk crowds to get there. I would recommend this as a must-try at Carolina Beach.

So great to finally get to have this BBQ again! We used to eat here every year during the holiday season when they were located in Cashier's, NC. This BBQ is so good, eating here was a requirement for this trip. Sauces are some of the best I've ever had, the meat all has a quality smoke taste, and the fried okra was amazing! Allison was our waitress and she was very attentive and energetic! Sitting on the rooftop, overlooking the beach, while eating some amazing BBQ is a must for anyone visiting Carolina Beach!

After spending the morning at Fort Fisher Aquarium we ventured into Carolina Beach and stumbled upon Carolina Smokehouse, happy we did! Food was amazing all around and enjoyed an ice cold Cheerwine!

We came here for lunch and ended up getting the pit. The food was delicious. And the service was great! Brendan was our server and he did an amazing job and made sure we had everything we needed pretty quickly despite it being super busy. Highly recommend!
