Just wanted to give a shout out to the night clerk "Meet Mee" and let her know how appreciated she is. My nephew was in a bind and didn't have a place to stay and I booked a room for him at Days Inn Goldsboro. We had an issue and she had a big heart and went out of her way to solve it. Can't thank her enough. Thank you kind woman with the big heart!!

Positive: Nothing Negative: I did not spend the night there. There was a dead roach in the bathrooom. Also, the room smelled like someone had smoked weed inside the room. I was very disappointed.

Positive: I liked the location it was close to my friends' house I was visiting. Negative: The hotel needs to be modernized it could use new doors for the room and bathrooms. The walls need to be repainted. The floors need a good mopping. The bathrooms need to be updated, higher toilets and wider/deeper tubs. Get the pool opened!

If I could give a negative stars review, I WOULD! My aunt was in hospice care, close by this hotel. My grandmother booked a reservation. Less than 8 hours later, my aunt passed away. We traveled to North Carolina from New Jersey to be with family but would have had to travel almost 2 hours from this hotel and since she had passed before we even checked in, we no longer needed to be so far away from family so requested that our reservation be moved to another Days inn location, closer to our family in NC. The manager told us we needed to get approval from Expedia so my grandmother called them. After Expedia said they would approve it, the manager then told my grandmother she won't change it for us. We just had a death in our family and taking $300 from my grandmother and refusing to switch us to a different hotel in the same chain, and lying is just awful. They also refused to change my mother's reservation and she lost out on money. The hotel also don't look anywhere near as nice as the pictures and is in a run down area. The paint on the roof is chipping and they have water damage on their ceilings. The toilet paper in the lobby rest room had brown spots all over it from being wet. If you enjoy bad service and a dirty, run down hotel, this is the place for you
