We called there almost everyday and couldn't get through. When we finally did, we were on hold for an hour and then was disconnected. We called back and left oue phone number, and the call wasn't returned until 4:30pm. I know one thing, THEY BETTER FIND MY PAYMENT!!!!

So my first time living in Philadelphia. Never had a problem with auto pay or customer service with utility companies,until now that I have to deal with pgw. My first bill was 24 dollars( I live alone) suddenly my second bill is 140 dollars. This utility company is a scam. Apparently my auto pay was declined despite all information was put in correctly. As i result i was charged 20 dollars extra for a late fee, due to declined pay (i paid that fee promptly as soon as i was notified of the decline)that had nothing to do with me putting in my info in incorrectly. Then I was told that gas prices increases during the winter. So the suggestion that was given to me was keep my temperature at 60 degrees?!Why would it increase during the winter when you know people need to use heat to keep their home warm. Sounds like they're after a dollar more than caring for the legit paying customer. On top of that customer service came off as really passive aggressive and condescending. I know for a fact i wont be dealing with Pgw for more than 2 years if a year.
