First time eating here. Service was very slow despite the restaurant being mostly empty. Food was decent, and those that had steak in my party said it was very good. But the value was not great, and they do not have a lot of options for kids. The cost and value of items like a salad bar, where they only allow one visit, and some menu items were not very big. Overall, the food was good. Our server tried to keep up, and was very friendly. They seem to have a lot of staff who weren't doing anything, which seemed odd. It seems this restaurant mostly caters to an older, retired crowd. Not ideal for families with children. It seems if you want a really good steak this is a place to go.

We had a big party of 20+. We were provided friendly service and William didn't disappoint. Some meals were not as timely as we wanted our 2nd table 30+ wait, due to our size and another party. Our celebration was great, honoring my dad's Birthday.

My wife and I have been to Ted's many times. However the last 2 visits have disappointed us. Service is not as good as it used to be. Food is still good but service has really changed. This last visit left a lot to be desired. Our first waitress was unable to take our wine order due to her age. Another waitress came to take our order, brought wine but forgot to bring water that was also requested, had to remind her twice. After a long delay, during which we observed 3 other tables who had arrived after us being served our food arrived. Wife's steak was cold. We both had ordered sauteed mushrooms which were served cold. Even our toast was cold. Baked potatoes were hot however as was my steak. After waving down the manager, couldn't get attention of our waitress, he took our plates back to the kitchen. Shortly he returned with hot items - done so quickly it makes us think part of meal had to have been microwaved. 2nd servings were good, we ate part of each and took balance home. Might visit again as food we finally were able to eat was good. However service and attitude of staff and management needs improvement. Too many excuses given by both in defense of poor service.

$10 for 6 shrimp. This should’ve been my first sign to run for the hills. Ordered a medium rare steak, it came well done. Was not busy in the restaurant and the waitress would barely keep our drinks refilled. Just disappointed in the service overall. Won’t be going back unfortunately.
