This review is based off a visit last year. THEY OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES to be as inhumane as they are. I would recommend this place be investigated for gross negligence.

So, I had some angine on Tuesday and went to the ER. Fortunately they didn’t find a big problem but recommended I go to the Cardiac Rapid Access Clinic. I’m made an appointment to go Thursday morning less than 48 hours after I was in the ER. Yesterday afternoon I had a fever and my pulse oximeter was giving me faulty readings so I went back to the ER and after all the blood tests and two hours of monitoring my vitals the Dr reported that he could find nothing wrong. My fever had disappeared before I got there and never returned. This morning I went to my appointment. There was nothing not a place to sign my name. My chart was never glanced at? I was taken to a room by a nurse. When I relayed the visit to the er the Threw herself away from me and told me I couldn’t be seen. First they said it was because fever is a COVID symptom and then because ins wouldn’t cover because I had been in the er the night be fore and 48 hours is the rule! She continued to treat my wife and I like we had the Plague and eventually they made an appointment to go to Eugene for my follow up. I’m not and never have been my ch of a rule breaker but I find the treatment I received, the lack of any medical approach whatsoever AND the fact that neither of the people we spoke with E RR WVEN LOOKED AT MY HART OR THE DR’s report to be very unprofessional and unbecoming of health care workers. FYI: Everyone in the ER was extremely professional and kind!!!

The Er was fine. The doctor made sure to do my head Ct Scan and spine X rays. However my pulse was 90 t0 95 and my heart felt like it was going to jump out of my chest. They did hook me up to the monitor and said it looked fine when I told them it was not a normal pulse for me. Also my blood pressure was high when I came in. They knew what blood pressure meds I was on. My blood pressure came down for a while then went back up causing chest discomfort. I let them know this but told me to take my blood pressure meds at home. They had already released me at this time. So on the way home the chest discomfort and discomfort down my arm is ridiculous when the ER could have giving me the blood pressure meds before I left.

From the moment I first walked into this hospital I felt at home and safe. The nurses and doctors took care of me from the start of my surgery, and continue to follow up with me after my surgery is was finished. Great people, great service, and I cant wait to make Peace Harbor my primary care.

Yes
Labs are behind main hospital
They told me they were offering Kaiser coverage to Florence residents by Jan 2021 but haven't gotten back to me. Also all of the facilities for Kaiser are in Eugene.
Please don't go to this hospital they don't care about you they list you as a drug addict even when you don't ask for anything
Go to Eugene if it's an emergency that's where they'll send u anywayand if they don't send you to Eugene they probably didn't help you
Ambulance services are provided by Lane County Ambulance.
Towns got good vibes and most anything you could want to do is 45 minutes away or closer
