Great place to camp and enjoy the water.. we go every summer. Its always clean, maintained and lots of shade trees.

Cleaner than most, always well kept. Sucks you have to pay for access. Softer beaches for feet, freshwater clams/shells! campsites are well equipped. Grounds have puncture vines.

This is some of the best water around: always smooth, minimal boat traffic, and open space. But at this park, there is a spider INFESTATION. You can’t walk outside your camper or tent without a spider (big and small), beetle, or mosquito biting or landing on you. It’s disgusting and unsafe. This could be a 5/5 spot, but the bugs will eat you alive.

This is great little park. The bathrooms are clean and the RV sites are level and easy to access. Site 17 has no shade from 9 am until 7:30 pm in the summer. Great swimming area. Kayaks, coanoes and rafts have a lot of room to be enjoyed.

Hi Judy! Check in time is at 2 p.m. If you arrive after office hours a bag with park information and your car pass will be hung on a clip outside of the office.
Current rates are posted on their website.
Not closed in the near future but that could change with one storm or one idiot.
I think it's two as the usual.
Not sure the fee to park on either side for swimming or boating is $5 for the day & for camping I think it's $20-25 per night. Hells Gate to camp is $12-15 per day I'm pretty sure but if you Google them I'm thinking it has price packages.
They have only a few cabins. You would need to call or go online to reserve your stay
Depends on the number of tents and cars. Also how many nights you plan on staying. It's a great place!
Not sure, it's not a state park, private that I remember!
I believe the answer is no, but call them, they will call you back if not answering
I have never saw a spider on the island, I'm sure they are there. I did see a beever, an osprey and lots of pelicans.
Call park manager, he lives there all year, I would believe you can but not 100% sure
You can vehicle camp in any of our RV sites. Prices vary depending on the site. Please visit our reservation site www.sunrisereservations.com for all site prices and reservations.

Yes, it's open. Very nice facilities. We stayed for more than a month during hunting season.
