Holiday Inn Express Kernersville, an IHG Hotel

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Due to a time constraint and another disgruntled guest at the counter, I didn't have a chance to address my issues with the front desk. However, due to the fact I was charged twice for my stay with no refund immediately issued for their oversight, I'll gladly address my issues here. Room 103 is located right by the entrance and allows for all noise to penetrate the room. As well, the room is located next to housekeeping and the large industrial washers that are apparently not maintained, allowing for excessive noise and a disgusting mildew smell in the room. There is also a sewage problem somewhere in this area and it smells like a Taco Bell restroom. Customer service is no help in resolving issues and we will not be staying at any IHG accommodations ever again.

Simple, Good room for a good rate. Right off the interstate. Nothing fancy, just solid. Nice and clean. They say the serve continental breakfast. However it is Way better than the regular continental breakfast at hotels were you have to make your own waffles. Shell gas station is close where you can walk to to get a snack or soda. If you need wifi, get the password before going to the room as it is not listed in the room.

Decent rooms in an older smaller hotel. Air conditioner wasn't the best, good location, nice staff. Lovely linens!

The staff is very friendly, attentive, the ones that seem like they don't smile are the nicest. The staff is wonderful, They serve breakfast 6:00/6"30 until, I think 10:00. Some of the rooms have cracks in the wall but, I didn't care, They have military discounts, probably Others as well.
