This is my closest market but after a number of fails I rarely go anymore. First the good: - the staff is friendly and mostly helpful. - it is walking distance to where I live. - they try to provide organic foods Bad: - produce is often not fresh or high quality (despite premium prices) - selection is very limited (though expected for a small store so not really a "bad") - meats can be a week out of date and still on shelves for sale - the membership system is poorly managed. For those reasons I stopped taking advantage of this market's proximity and for several months have made the drive to Friendly center for groceries. I dropped in today a quick stop to pick up a few items but that will likely be my last visit. They could not find my membership in their system, the grapes were lackluster, the best, small cantelope I could find had a rotten spot... lol.

Solid grocery coop, and we do need more of these stores, which would ultimately bring lower prices...for those comparing to Whole Foods—part of one of the largest multi-national corporations in the world—there is no comparison. This is a member-owned, local cooperative, owned by the people in the community shopping there—pretty much on the other end of the economic scale from Amazon's Whole Foods.

Great little local grocery store! Staff is super friendly and helpful. The hot food bar is excellent especially on Tuesday. I love the bulk bins and the bakery items, too! Produce is always fresh. The outdoor seating area has a great view of downtown on nice days!

Great Co Op- wish there were more of these in the southern states. Deep Roots has just about everything you’d hope including a great hot food bar, soups, and grab and go items. As a traveler for work, I really appreciate finding healthy grab and go items at places like this
