We just went to the ER with my son who was in an accident. The hospital staff were all amazing. Everyone was so nice and attentive. The doctor that he saw was Dr. Bell and he was the sweetest, kindest man. I can't say enough how great everyone was. We didn't even wait for 1 minute. They took us straight back. I am so thankful that we went to Cannon and did not go to Spruce Pine.

This is by far my favorite hospital. I was inpatient in the behavioral health unit and they cared for us just as if we were family, the never once failed us! And I wanna say a big thank you to Jessica who works in the outpatient unit, God bless you.

Was seen at the ER last night for sore throat and sore neck! The staff (Deanna Griffith)were terrific and fast! Within 10mins I saw the Dr (it was a women can’t remember her name)who was also professional and very helpful with my diagnosis/treatment! It was so accurate that in 5 hours I felt better! I realize it can be the speed of the Dr, but I was out in 45 mins great experience!

Just had an ultrasound here with Holly. Couldn't ask for a nicer more informative and concerned attendant. Actually this was my third visit to Cannon and out of the three visits I haven't had one negative detail to speak of. Highly recommend and greatly appreciate your service!! Kudos

Yes

What kind of personal items are accepted to bring for patients? What bag or container is acceptable to bring them in. Can they have cards, flowers, etc?

Hi Kenny. If this is a medical inpatient, cards, flowers or just about any container is ok. If it is a behavioral health patient, there are multiple restrictions. If this is case, it would be best to call the unit at 737-7600 to ask about specific items.
