Goodman will leave you sweating all summer. At the end of 2020 I spent $40,000 in ACs from Goodman for my business, all units have 5 year warranties. In June of 2022 I had an outdoor condenser coil bust a leak after less than 2 years of use. It has been 100+ degrees most of the summer here in Texas and after countless calls, talks with management, hours of wasted time waiting for return calls for information, and over 3 months of waiting for my warrantied part I still don't have a working AC. I have been told the part is on backorder and I have also been told that the part has been shipped to my HVAC contractor but they have heard or seen nothing. So much runaround, so many excuses, at the end of the day - stop offering a warranty if you can't fulfill the promise you make to your customers. Don't waste your time and money, buy HVAC equipment somewhere else.

You have to have an account with them

I just purchased an air conditioner from goodman distribution. I was told by the salesman that i need to purchace a compressor hard start kit to put on your brand new unit. Why do i need it n why is it at my expense?

To start with you don't have to have one but they do help because the new units take a lot of power to start up and that does assist the compressor in starting and theoretically makes it last longer
