I had to mail a few things & while waiting in line I appreciate that customer service acknowledge our presences in line & said they will be with us asap. They also educated me in choosing the correct package for my 2 items. I step aside to fill it out & did not lose my space in line. Thank u for help & thank for the extra mile & being such a wonderful usps to go too. I will return for all my mailing needs here.

I can't say you would get service very fast. There are a lot of customers almost all time. Well... Do you know any post office with no people? Always I get perfect service there! Very professional, friend. Most of time I see Vivian and Mike. Thank you guys!

Quality varies. I have had some very good and some really dissatisfying, aggravating experiences with the Pinole Post Office. The folks behind the counter have always been friendly and helpful. HOWEVER, this P.O. does not handle packages well. Over the years I've had the following experiences: one package did not reach its East Coast destination; one envelope package mailed to me from TX was missing its contents; I mailed about 40 boxes of belongings from the East Coast to my home (and paid a lot of $$ to do so) and received a notice from the Pinole Post Office that they were in the local office. When I went to check on them, the Postmaster (at the time -- not sure she's still there) acted as if I was crazy to expect them to be delivered to my home ("We don't have a truck for that!") and asked if I had a truck or car and could pick them up. Repeat: I PAID for door-to-door service. Delivering packages is the job of the post office, no matter how many there are! In all fairness, I do want to point out that it's unknown where, along the line, packages got lost between Pinole and TX, and between Pinole and the East Coast. It may have nothing to do with the local Post Office, and they (like most local offices) appear completely unequipped to do a rigorous search or follow-up to find the missing packages. Another time I received a notice in my P.O. box that I had a package waiting for me. I went to claim it, and the Pinole P.O. said there was nothing there. A few days later I got a warning notice in my P.O. box saying that they'd been holding a package for me and that if I didn't pick it up soon, it would be returned to the sender. (?!) Most recently, I informed a vendor that I'd never received the item I had ordered in March, and would be requesting Visa to take the charge off my account. Turns out the package had been shipped back to the vendor because I hadn't picked it up -- because the Pinole P.O. never told me it was there! The vendor must have figured this out before I did, because they subsequently re-sent it and it finally arrived last week. I noticed that the package indicated that the date it initially arrived at the Pinole P.O. was in April. It's now the end of June. My order was placed in March. As for other items/packages too big to fit in my P.O. box, the folks behind the mail room door frequently have difficulty finding the item once I show up to submit my claim check for it. I don't know what the problem is with their system for tracking items within their facility, but it's not efficient. Other than that, the counter staff (with the exception of one or 2 people now and then) has always been efficient and friendly and recognize me when I come it. The place has a lovely small-town feel and atmosphere. The friendly staff tend to be the veterans who have been there the longest and have, amazingly, survived some fairly horrendous local postmasters at that facility.

Very inconsiderate people. Had an important UPS package shipped overnight but they added an extra day to the delivery time because UPS delivered after the " sorting Period" the mail/package had to wait till the next day sorting period. I wonder why the post office is losing a lot of business to their competitors.

Yes, at the pinole office you have to have an appointment.
almost all Post Offices take passport photos. I believe you can also go to Costco,CVS and AAA.
Nope
Yes. You should be able to do that anytime.
No way on Saturday
You need to have an appointment. Call to make an appointment and ask them what you need to bring. Both parents may have to be present when the passport is for a minor. Not sure for a renewal
