I tried for the first time and let's just say 10/10. The food was good and what i enjoyed most was the service. I have never been into a Chinese restaurant, and they are speaking Spanish back to their customers. I LOVED IT! it touched my heart, new Favorite Chinese restaurant for sure.

Excellent pickup process. Dining in is even better as some dishes, like string beans, are best freshly cooked.

This Chinese restaurant specializes in spicy/Mandarin food but the things we ordered were not even that spicy--was more watered-down. They does offer a few selections of Cantonese dishes but they were okay. Also, their portions were a tad on the smaller size. Though this restaurant is pretty clean and has good service.

The people who said the food is bland must have gotten this confused with another restaurant..it is the total opposite. As other reviewers said, there are so many more options than other restaurant - cantonese, sichuanese, americanized, etc. with various different tastes. Sichuanese food is so flavorful and filled with spice (my favorite). Cantonese food is more bland. You can always ask for customization -- just talk to the waitress!! If you don't say anything, ofc the waitress will not know what you want..but they are always willing to give recommendation if you tell them your taste!! I love trying the dishes here, and by telling them the dishes I have tried and the flavors my tastebud like, the kind of meat i like, the workers always give good recommendation. Pictured is Spicy Sichuan style casserole with meat of your choice (new item so not on menu but is posted on the bulletin board). YUM!!

China Jade located in Rockville offers 3 menus. There is authentic Cantonese food, authentic Sichuanese food (uses more spices), more Americanized Chinese food (think about General Tsao's Chicken). If it's your first time there, since there are different menus, the waiters tend to give out the Americanized menu if you are not Asian. I suggest telling the waiter the flavors and ingredients you like to ask for good suggestions. Once you go there more than once or twice, they will surely remember the things you like!
