Gorgeous quaint venue. Rural industrial feel with wonderful touches of decor. Lots of areas for different gatherings and guests to mingle. I attended a wedding here. The staff were casual and accommodating but definitely could of had a tad more grace at the end of the night. They had no last song announcement, then cut the music mid 'celebrate good times'. Next they stacked all tables and chairs immediately after the song cut out. It was awkward. It's understandable that the music wasn't great bc the dj had a family emergency, so it wasn't on him. I would recommend it for a wedding with special requests. It definitely inspired me while I plan mine. Visually stunning.

I had the pleasure of visiting this estate on multiple occasions. This winery boasts a welcoming modern farmhouse vibe with beautiful garden landscaping throughout. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I Would highly recommend McCauley Estates whether your planning your future event or just wanting to relax and enjoy a glass of wine.

Avoid this venue if you want trustworthy, professional vendors and a stress-free wedding!! Vendors are supposed to make the wedding planning process easier, but it was the exact opposite with McCauley. This venue is family owned and it is obvious professionalism and clients are not a priority for this company - just money. We had a 6 day wedding and a lot of venues and vendors. This was the worst vendor and the only one that made me cry during the planning process. Your wedding day doesn't come around everyday and if there's any advice I can give an engaged couple, spend your money on a well-reputable and professional company that will bring your vision to life on your special day. We toured McCauley over a year before our wedding and had amazing interactions with the owner's daughter, Marissa, prior to signing the contract. She was promising us things we never asked for - golf cart around the vineyards for portraits, use of the driveway for private bridal and groom entrance, etc. My husband and I really prioritized having a personal connection with each of our vendors as we know how much effort goes into planning the wedding so naturally we appreciated Marissa's offers. Prior to signing the contract, we noticed the event hours and access hours for vendor setup were limited so we asked to increase hours. She explained there are additional charges for event hours so we agreed to that and had it included in our contract. We asked again via email on the additional access hours for vendor setup and her response was "we do not alter our contract but 4 hours can be coordinated with your coordinator." Assuming she would stick to her words and all costs were communicated and disclosed, we signed the contract. A couple months before the wedding, Marissa and this entire business changed their tune entirely. Everything she promised was conveniently forgotten or no longer something she could accommodate. Our wedding planner reached out regarding the access hours and her response was this is only possible for $250/hour. To our surprise, we asked her why this cost wasn't brought up when we were signing the contract. She then accused us of "not respecting the time of the venue staff and the package that [we] paid for." She wouldn't pick up our calls and the way she spoke to us was so unprofessional. It honestly put me in tears and I had to take time away from work. We ended up paying nearly $1k extra for the access time so our vendors could set up in time for our wedding. She was so quick to add charges but would not alter the contract if it meant our costs would decrease. For months prior to our wedding, we discussed a reduced headcount via email. She did not change the contract even though the headcount could be changed till 2 weeks prior to the event date. When we asked for a refund, she refused to refund us the $600 we were entitled to. It got to the point where I didn't even want to get married at this venue. Do not waste your money, there are way better venues/management (and weather) in San Ramon, Napa, San Jose, Livermore and SF/Marin.

Thank you for inquiring. Currently, we do not have tasting hours. Please follow us on facebook where we will keep you up to date on any changes:))
I'm not exactly sure the number of steps one would take. You should get a decent idea from some of the areal photos, maybe? We are wheelchair accessible if needed.
