This was a cool hotel, like taking a step back in time. Lobby and hallways had a classic feel. Restaurant was closed nut looked like it would have been fun to visit. Nice location in Reading, close to downtown area. Room was clean and updated. Very friendly staff.

If I could there would be no stars for the place.This hotel is a mess! I will not being staying here again. I asked for a non smoking room due to my childrens and husband's asthma and when you walked into the building you smelled smoke really bad. The room door did not lock which made it hard for me to sleep safe. The TV was not working, the pool was not up and running. The carpet in the room was nasty. And when I asked to have something done about my door, they wanted to move me to a room with no a/c for the night. I can't do that not with my family having health issues.Front desk lady was nice. That is all they have going for them. This is literally the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I will not be sending anyone I know to this place.

This hotel is mediocre. Please be careful with the ice machines as the ice shows sings of dirt, debris and mold. My room tub’s is clogged. The sofa in my room is very dirty and had dog hair thats very visible. I refuse to sit on it. They don’t have breakfast here along with many other things. There is no phone to call the front, you will have to walk and inform the front desk. Plus I did find a roach.. the front desk did make me be aware if I find bugs to let her know… The fridge and microwave works and at most we do have a TV with cable. The ac does work. If your desperate and not looking for much, yup this is it. I’m glad I’m here for two days, but I will not be returning here again. Next time I’m in Reading I’ll be looking for another hotel. Plus do expect the lights to go out when theirs inclement weather…. They did restore power in a decent timely manner.

Positive: Coffee in room. I wouldn¿t stay and the girl at the desk promised not to run my VISA. That was the best thing about this place. If they did charge me, you will hear about it. Negative: NOTHING on your website describing The Inn at Reading was available! My room had no air conditioning. Broken! Breakfast or any dining no longer exists. The pool was filthy, not functioning, locked. TV not working. DON¿T LIST THIS DUMP ! YUK
