I'm not the type to leave bad review, specially for this nature but I didn't really appreciate how the Grooming Salon's manager handled the situation. During my dog's grooming appointment, he bit the groomer. I completely understand them not wanting to groom him anymore but I was dismissed by the manager. I went back in and as the groomer was finalizing the file and telling me he was fine throughout the grooming but bit when she got to his front paw, The manager just blurted out "we're just not going to groom him anymore." She wan't addressing me and didn't expand or explained anymore. The groomer gave me the papers to pay I was left in the air. Again, I understand that my dog is difficult but, I would've appreciated better communication from the manager and not to be treated like I wasn't even there. I used to work at retail stores and I would've never just dismissed a client like that. I know the groomer was upset because she got bit and for sure she has her right to be upset, but good customer services would meant the Manager would've explained to me in a nicer way that he cannot come in anymore. I tried to ask what she would suggest, I rescued him last year and have been trying for him to get used to grooming/people, and that's when she said to take him to a vet to make him drowsy and how he's always a problem and is always biting. it is unexcused for my dog to bite, but this was the first time, and she said he's always growling when he arrives. He is a dog and some dogs will be more nervous than others. I wonder why they didn't put a cone on him if he was getting like that. I have told them he gets nervous and growls and they have groomed him in the past. Other times they had a cone on him to cut his nails but I wasn't even told if they did that this time. Overall my frustration is how the Grooming Salon Manager handled the whole situation. Another general store manager I spoke to after said that it may be the stress at the grooming salon trying to get other dogs ready, However, that is no excuse for the poor customer services and dismissive attitude. I was very disappointed and hurt.

The manager, Jarreck, is very condescending and rude. Extremely poor customer service skills. We will be looking for a new groomer because we will not be returning due to our last interaction with him.

The workers at the Wyomissing Store are fantastic. They are great help and are willing to obtain information if they don't know themselves. The store always has the live replies food we need and they carry live isopods where the "other" pet store doesn't. Shelves at this store are always orderly, floors are clean, and live pet displays very nice.

Great place to purchase item for your pet/s. Staff is great and the grooming department is good as well. Ill have to be honest, some groomers are better than others. One name I do want to mention is Linda, we worked with her for grooming our dog and she is excellent! Some products are over priced, you can find the same product online for a lot cheaper, but then again that goes for most stores anyways. Overall great pet store!

Idk but the service at the fish section is bad. The manager just wants money and doesn't care about anything else
Yes!
Yes they do. In the fish tank section
No
Not sure, but many decades ago, about 50 years, they stopped selling them. I think because of salmonella poisoning.
