Hands down, the best Philly cheese steak in Lynchburg and beyond! The staff were friendly and the food was Outstanding! My wife and I have been searching for a cheese steak sandwich that compares to her favorite sub shop in Maryland, and Taste of Philly does not disappoint. We will definitely be returning for more.

10 or more years ago I came here with my uncle and we got some Philly cheesesteaks and I remeber it being delicious. That was 10 years ago I moved to Kansas got married had kids and moved back here to Virginia so my tastes have changed. All that said, 10 years later it’s still if not more delicious, filling, amazing service, friendly and worth going to again and again. Taste of Philly thank you for an amazing meal. Highly recommend.

Ok..so WOW!!! We entered this sweet little shop and were greeted in such a friendly manner. Our order was brought out steaming hot and ridiculously delicious!! While the building appears to be a little "hole in the wall", there was a steady stream of customers while we were there. Check out the pic....OVERSTUFFED Philly sub. Amazing!

If you're looking at the reviews wondering if you should try this place out or not. Just come and try it you won't be sorry. Not only was the food phenomenal and amazing but Thomas and his family were super friendly and genuine. Definitely will be coming back here.
