Does not care about you. Does not call or update you on your case. Let's dead lines come up without requesting new documentation to support your case. Only cares about himself and money he can gain.

This man was told not to tell me what my Dr was doing.. He through my case and I can't work for cancer surgurey and radiation. No border line disability.. I'm left ill and penniless.. Worse is he let me go 7 years. I'm broke.and dying. Don't't give him a chance.. I am beside myself..and I had one chance.this man Let me die metaphorically and literally..at least could have told truth he also has broken many law's the bar has set to protect ..beware... If I was not disabled he could not have done this. I would have been able to find out what was going on. I was in a bed waiting to get income to continue..he lagged after 7 years his comment "it looks bad and ha ha the judge says it Dosnt look good ok good luck" after I'm deformed and in pain and weak for life I have no one and he felt I would not be able to do anything .. He was correct this is it this note.I am left out of American dream this man is wealthy and immune to persecution. Of course some get $ that aren't didabled by him... So there happy. And he gets $ as soon as he could not make $ he dumped case .ps. He had sent a form that if I got a settlement ,That founds. To be sent to him instead of me. I sighed it. He said in case I have child support. I live alone and have no children. This is part of it .That will never get disability and if I did he gets it all first. I emphasize he never told me what was going on. And he was abusive to me in court room. The officer on duty and my driver was beside me and told me he was bad man. Why didn't I listen. If the officer is out there. Thank you it was last curtusy anyone has given me...bless all disabled Americans!!

If you’ve been denied, don’t panic. You have multiple chances to appeal your case. Experienced disability attorney Dan Emery can help you figure out the best path forward for you to win benefits. Give him a call today.
Yes. The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a list of mental disabilities that qualify you for benefits. Though winning your claim can be difficult, Dan Emery can walk you through the process and help you make your case as strong as possible. Many people receive disability benefits for mental health problems.
Technically, no. But, a Government Accountability Office study showed that you’re almost three times as likely to win benefits in your disability hearing with a judge if you have representation. The SSA has its own legal system, full of opportunities for mistakes that could lead to denials. An experienced attorney like Dan Emery knows the system and can make the process easier for your and error-free.
Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) is for people who have earned enough work credits through recent employment and paid into the Social Security system. Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is for people with low incomes, limited assets and little recent work history. The experienced attorneys at the Daniel Emery Law office can help you decide the right path for you.
Yes! We take pride in being good neighbors to our friends in Maine and providing personal care and attention. Dan meets with every client, getting to know them and their case before going in front of a disability judge. At some law firms, you may rarely see your lawyer before the day of your hearing. Dan takes time to get to know you in person and understand how your disability impacts your life, so he can present your case more effectively.
You don’t pay us a cent unless you win your claim. When you win, our fee only comes out of your back pay, which is a lump sum Social Security gives you to account for the time you waited for your decision. The money doesn’t come out of your pocket or future benefits. The attorney fee is also subject to limits set by Social Security.
It gets easier to win benefits once you’re over 50. At this age the Social Security Administration becomes more lenient in assessing your ability to switch jobs, which is a key part of determining whether your health problems are severe enough to rule out work.
We proudly serve our fellow Mainers in Portland, Yarmouth, Augusta, Lewiston, Biddeford and all other communities in Southern and Central Maine.
Dan has more than 20 years of experience practicing Social Security Disability law. He knows the system and can give you the best shot at winning the benefits you need to survive.
