Several weeks ago we scheduled servicing furnace and burner for today. Window between 8 and 10, it's now 130, hubby has called them twice since 11, person answering the phone has no way to do anything but contact service manager who appears to not bother answering the phone? No call from tech with ETA, no call back from rymes, hubby wasting a whole day of his vacation waiting for anything from rymes. We always got great service in the beginning and were very happy now it's gone downhill to the point of no service whatsoever. If you can even get someone to answer the phone, they know absolutely NOTHING and can't even get answers for you. Terrible Terrible service AND customer relations

My family has been using Rymes since 1974, back when they were on Waverly Street here in Antrim. They have gotten too big and customer service has gone by the wayside. Long wait times on hold, difficulty getting answers when with a human. Emailing gets no results whatsoever. It shouldn't be a hair pulling experience just to get a fixed price estimate. Very frustrating.

I don't usually make it a point of posting bad reviews, but I'm very disappointed with how Rymes has changed over the years, and want to help others avoid what I experienced. I've been a customer for 5 years now, just recently they changed their group pricing plan to only be from June to April, and they've always made scheduled deliveries in December, February, and May. This puts them in a position where they can charge the current market price per gallon when they deliver in May instead of the contracted price. I was planning to have a surplus in my account at the end of last season, but instead I was in a position where I needed to pay since the delivery was double what it would have been if delivered when under contract. With the state of the world right now every penny counts, and this added cost certainly hurt. Very disappointed.

Loved using them when I actually used them. But it's been pulling teeth trying to get my decent sum of money refunded that they owe me. I've been waiting 4 weeks now. I've been ignored all this week when I've reached out about them resending it out and I'm about to have my lawyer give them a call.

You have to call the main office, to get a quote
Propane prices move up and down with the market, unless you enter into a fixed-price contract.
We have people answering the phone 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, so if you ever have another service emergency, please call us and we will send someone out. Heating oil is dyed red, though, and it doesn't sound like your problem was actually gelled oil.
