I have heard stories of Dermatology appointments being booked out months in advance, to my delight when I called Optima Dermatology an appointment was available the following week. Convenient Scarborough location and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

I had an appointment last week. They got me in very quickly, which was great. The staff was very nice and the office was neat and clean. The reason for my three stars is I was told they would look at the moles on my entire body including my scalp. The dermatologist was in the room for about 5 minutes and looked mostly all over, but forgot to look at the one on my hand that I mentioned I wanted checked out and did not check my scalp. I have a mole that they were supposed to measure, but I never noticed them measuring it, maybe they did? I’ve never been to a dermatologist before, so I don’t have much to compare it to, but it felt very rushed.

I work for a health care facility and was told during my physical to have a mole checked on my arm. After a month of waiting for a local dermatologist to call , I was getting a little nervous. One day a physician came into our practice and dropped off some fliers for Optima dermatology. I called my PCP and asked if I could go here as I still had not received a call from the other facility. She ok’d my referral and Optima dermatology called within 2 days and I got an appointment within a week. This office is amazing from the secretary to the assistant and doctor. Very prompt, friendly and professional! Office is clean and very through. I will be recommending this practice to everyone.

I’ve been waiting for 6+ months at other companies so I called here & they got me in within two weeks! The nurses were great and the doctor was too. He explained in understandable terms why my skin was breaking out, and set me up with treatment right away. He also explained how each med would help. Highly recommend!
