This place is awesome. There is so much interesting stuff that you could spend all day here. The woman at the front desk was so pleasant and so were all the other folks who work hard to keep this history preserved. The tickets and merchandise were very reasonably priced. I would recommend this place to anyone

They were so friendly, and we learned so much about the sport and the Petty family. Our family really enjoyed it, especially the cars from the movie Cars lol.

So much NASCAR history! We enjoyed it better than the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Many autographed items are available at very reasonable prices.

I arrived at 3:30, so only had 30 minutes to see the museum (2 barns) and wish I would have had an hour. I wasn't as intrigued with the younger Petty's racing history but the bulk of the museum is dedicated to Richard Petty. The cars left me in awe... I wish they offered the chance to drive one or sit in one. The classic 60's and 70's race cars are amazing to think how much was on the driver and rugged those races must have been. A true legend! Well worth the $12 admission.

No special times. He shows up when he shows up. Afternoon is the best time. There is no set time. It's just a bit of luck and he would be there. It's a wonderful ace to visit and you can purchase authentic autographed items of "The King".
Sharon Petty Farlow (Richard's daughter) is museum manager..Bonnie is the lady that works up front all the time. Great place to visit.
