This place is one of our favorite coffee shops in Portland! We visited from Austin and were looking to a place to hang out for a little bit while responding to work emails and the two ladies running the counter were so friendly and made fantastic drinks! Not only were they nice to us but in the hour or so we were there, we watched them greet most of their customers by name as they walked in the door and even started making drinks before they were asked. This will definitely be our go-to for great coffee anytime we find ourselves in the area.

Great little shop, minimal seating options indoors (I assume because of covid) but lovely atmosphere and very amazing coffee. If you're one to stay away from overly sweetened drinks, would most highly recommend giving bitter rose a try! I usually get an iced rose latte and top it off with a little bit of honey. Baristas are always very kind as well

I got the rose matcha - it’s not sweetened, but has a delicate rose flavor. I’d recommend adding some syrup on your own if you like your lattes sweeter, but I quite enjoyed this. Tucked away by the library, this was a quiet spot with both indoor and outdoor seating
