Too expensive worse than shaws on price I'd prefer shaws in Newburyport over stop n shop Although they do have ...if looking beach stuff a book store area and quite a selection of kitchen wear and cards and gifts If money is no option you'll love it unless you hate big grocery stores They have boar's head meats and lots of fresh vegetables Nice shopping carts

I like this store but they need to have more cashiers. I used to go to this location a lot but bcz of the cashier issue, I go to a different store 90% of the time now. Hire some people and give them a decent hourly wage if that's what it takes.

A nice, clean, well-organized store. It was virtually empty though because the prices are just not competitive with Market Basket. I saw some of the same products $1-4 cheaper at MB in Newburyport. I go to S&S occasionally because it is nearby to me but purchase very little. If price is no issue for you, it is a lovely store.
