Took my vehicle in for a state safety inspection and was failed due to worn down brakes. Was told they could have new brakes installed and have me pass new inspection within the hour for $440. Told them I would take somewhere else for second opinion. Another garage reported my brakes were completely fine and said so in writing. Showed this location the other garage’s report and they then reversed their decision and passed me. Do not go for a safety inspection. They manipulate their position to extort consumers.

Nick at Broadway Gas is the best!! I originally came in for an inspection and Nick caught on to a weird sound coming from my engine. Turns out there was a leak in one of the pipes and it had all rusted over. Nick was very patient in explaining it all to me and showed me exactly where the problem was. He was professional, kind and very honest regarding what absolutely had to be replaced and what we could hold off on so I wasn’t spending money on anything that wasn’t necessary. I will definitely be returning for future car repairs!
