Sold me a car with known transmission issues and an active lawsuit, didn't provide both keys to the car, and it came with a built in speed limiter and volume limiter (Ford MyKey). They asked $400 dollars to disable their BUILT IN SOFTWARE. I used a $20 OBD port reader to disable it myself. That's right, $400 for a $20 fix. Edit: they've since reached out to me to ask how to disable MyKey, they were supposedly unaware it could be done. Ford corporate instructs that the only fix is having multiple keys available, which is not true (and why wasn't I provided both keys to begin with?). The company is price gouging at every chance they get. There is free software available online to remove it. I'm not satisfied with the overall experience and the car should never have been sold to begin with, but they at least try to learn from mistakes. Still, any half competent mechanic should be able to Google the issue I had and fix it. They also did not address why they sold me a car with active lawsuits, being recalled under lemon laws. It shouldn't have been on the lot for sale. It was my first car ever and they totally took advantage of me, and continue to attempt to do so. Don't give Ford your business.
