I love shopping at a smallish store. Not so many people. Sprouts has good selection of fresh produce.

Overall a healthier inventory compared to most grocery stores. Surprising food prices on produce and bulk items. Before covid they had sales on vitamins/health products every 3 or 4 months. That was always a good deal. Not sure if they still do that. I haven't been traveling to the valley as much as I used to. The clearance rack by the restrooms is always worth taking a look at.

I've always loved Sprouts, but this visit I realized a few things. All their prices are pretty high compared to other stores. Normally, that's because it's organic, healthier, or at least better quality. That's not always the case, though. The last few visits we have gotten nuts in bulk only to find as we drove away that they were already going bad. The tomatoes on the Vine normally last a lot longer too, but I had a hard time finding some that even looked good. I did pick up some strawberries that looked beautiful and tasted just as good, so they do have some redeeming qualities. We'll see how it is next time I'm there.
