Great place for some amazing food. Had a delicious dinner here after looking for some pizza places. Great service and the food came out fast!

Today was the first time my wife and I had ever been to an Uncle Sam’s. We saw the ad in a “Best Philly’s in Phoenix” article and decided to try it out. Everything was really good, but especially our server Ayla, she warmed the entire experience and had no problem going through the menu and answering our questions before we ordered. She was so sweet and thorough with everything she did, so I wanted to take the time to review and say thank you again!! We ordered the mozzarella sticks, the firecracker tots, and the fried zucchini. (All delicious!!) And for our meals we ordered a quarter of a Pepper Cheese Philly with fries each. Ayla recommended extra cheese and to try the homemade ranch. Everything was super delicious!!

My greasy little personal pizza cost nearly 10 bucks, and no joke, was only slightly bigger than the size of my wallet. Uncle Sam's also offers 1/3 and 1/2 size SLIVERS of subs/hoagies - with no sides or drinks - at even crazier prices. IDK about anyone else out there, but when I spend my hard earned dollars at any eatery, I expect some food on my plate. I'm still laughing at that dinky sized pizza they tossed on my table because it reminded me of another Uncle Sam we all know and love who likes to take our money and offer us very little in return. Meantime, you can find better food, bigger portions, and better value for the buck at a lot of other places around town. On a more positive note - my cup of ice water was excellent!

I saw this place listed as a candidate for the New Times "Best of" in the pizza category. So, I had to give it a try. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. A casual family friendly place with a small bar and several TV's, all with sports events. The menu is good Ol' American fare, mostly East coast influenced. We tried the staples of East coast favorites: pizza, wings, and an Italian Hoagie. The wings were perfectly crispy with a perfect amount of sauce. Their "Suicide" sauce was a great blend of crushed red pepper flakes and black peppercorns. The pizza was pretty damn good. A very dense pizza with lots, and lots,, of cheese. We would have preferred a bit less cheese. But it was good. The Hoagie, the Italian Special, was impressive and exactly what I would get from an East coast sub. This place is really great. Affordable menu with great service. We'll be heading back to try more from their menu.

All of our staff are required to wear masks, and all persons entering the building are required to wear masks. We social distance our dining room and bar, as well as our take-out area. We sanitize each area after a customer uses the space. All items used are sanitatized before going back into service, including pens. We also keep our front door open, so it is untouched. We offer dine in, take-out, online ordering for take-out and direct delivery, as well as curbside pick-up. We also offer touch free payment.
Yes, masks are required to enter the restaurant. We are following or exceeding all CDC, and government mandates.
Yes of course! And boosters as well!
Owner answer was pizza Inn until 78. I've known it as Uncle Sam's since mid 80s
