Such as a great place to visit, especially with the family. The staff are all very friendly and the gentlemen in the gift shop area are extremely knowledgeable! On very hot summer days the museum may be closed so call ahead!

This was an amazing museum. The family had been to many navel ship museums and this is our first submarine. With me being 6'3" tall it really shows myself and the family how tight spaces are and were for people on subs. They also had another ship sitting in the parking lot. Too bad we couldn't climb through it. The memorial park at the opposite end of the museum was nice. Hope to find and explore more submarine museums on our travels. Nachos.....

Really interesting place to visit. Everyone enjoyed our tour of the submarine. Very friendly staff, nice gift shop. No indoor bathroom just two porta potties in the back of the parking lot, yuck.

What a fun piece of history! I took my 67 use old father and we loved it. Hearing the submariners tell their stories on the guided tour was helpful, informative and interesting. Highly recommend!

It's actually a prototype built by Juliet Marine. Has many comparisons to Albacore. Speed, stealth and missile launching capability. It is tested by USN from time to time and is on permanent loan to Albacore Park.
