Waxing the city has been my go to for waxing services since I moved to Phoenix. I have always had great experiences at waxing the city. I wanted to call out Leslie specifically for her amazing work. I came to Waxing the City for the first time to have my eyebrows cleaned up and my underarms waxed. The office was so nice and clean, very modern, had nice products for sale and had the BEST music playing, who doesnt love Journey?? Leslie did my services for me, she was so kind and caring during my appointment, explained my services and so gentle. I will definately be back to see Leslie, when my hair grows back out.

Please be wary, especially if you are new to waxing. I was pressured into a membership where they scheduled appointments far too frequently for my skin type. You'd think they would be aware of my sensitive skin since we discussed it during every appointment. When my skin broke out with acne, they insulted me and suggested I buy more products, which ultimately made my skin much worse. I spent hundreds of dollars there, and was only refunded a $25 product when they made an array of mistakes. I left feeling very upset and insecure. When I spoke to the manager on the phone regarding my concerns, she blamed everything on one of her employees and suggested I buy more products. I decided to stop using their products altogether, cancelled my membership, and my skin suddenly cleared up. I'm hoping the acne scars will go away soon as well. Be careful!
