I won't give a perfect score on this because I think the pricing is unnecessarily high. For any child 2-12 the price is $31.95. For adults the price is $41.95 for adults. An adult is anyone over the age of 18. Why would I pay adult pricing for my 13yr old and then also be charged for my 2-4 year old who won't remember the trip in 2 weeks time? Kids don't start truly and deeply forming memories until 4-7 years old AND kids are not adults until they are 18 by state law. Why make it harder than it needs to be for families to be able to afford to take their kids out of the house and do something educational? Pricing aside the aquarium is nice. They have a great variety of sea life to look at and they did a great job on their displays. It was definitely very crowded at the twilight session and that did affect the overall experience. The stingray petting area people were shoulder to shoulder. The water play table people were standing shoulder to shoulder. If we could afford to take all of our children during day time hours I imagine it would have been a slightly more enjoyable trip.

My kid been begging to go here. It was worth the drive to AZ! We loved the rotating aquarium and the escalators with full 360 aquariums. The best was those restrooms as you wash your hands you can watch sharks too we spent about 2.5 hours there walking around and seeing all the exhibits.

I would give this place a 5 star if a lot of the exhibits we're actually open. It's amazing place for all ages. Clean and a excellent assortment of fish. The 1st restroom inside the building was excellent, even if you don't have to use it you definitely need to go in so you can see the live sharks. The only drawback that I have is paying full price when the main exhibits I came to see were closed. The birds were off exhibit which was the main attraction I wanted to see since I'm a huge parrot lover, The otters were closed, The sturgeon area was shut down, And the main touch pool was closed. They were doing guided tours for kids, so they were much too busy to ask or answer any questions anybody else had. I can understand if you need to clean something and take an animal off exhibit but to shut down so many exhibits all at the same time is not a good system. I came all the way from Michigan to see this exhibit I expected more. Also pay close attention to what you pay for things in the gift shop I was overcharged $4 not a huge deal but something to consider.

Such a great place to spend time with family, individually, or as a group. There is something for everyone! My son’s favorite parts were the touching pools (there were three total that we saw). My favorite was Voyager, the rotating aquarium. It was such a fun, unique experience. When you go, make sure you don’t skip this part. You won’t be sorry.

Only if it is a service pet
Our daughter is in her 30s with college ID and she got the discount. But you can't buy passes for others with it...just the student.
I was advised entry times only are a guide to control the amount of people entering at once (to avoid a mob). You should be fine arriving at another time.
