We posted the review below but for the last year the experience at China Phoenix has degraded to the point we will not return until there is a record of their efforts to provide something more than mediocre food, a nasty attitude, and miserable service. Seems they have allowed limited Dim Sum on the north side, popularity, and profit to blind them to the fact that mass returning customers speaks to the quality of food and service. ("Old Review") Awesome dim sum, absolutely and totally awesome. New management is beyond words, they are welcoming, warm, humble, inviting. The servers are genuinely happy again and refreshing to talk with. New and authentic Asian dishes available, pig ear n feet, and many other items. Don't hesitate to ask, they will deliver if at all possible. Obviously I can't say enough about the NEW China Phoenix experience.

A great food choice if your trying to have a good meal with leftovers. Lots of choices and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Orange chicken and general tsos was great and used quality meat. Crab puffs were the right stuffs.

I can't hate this restaurant because they are one of the only dimsums in town but I soooo wish it had been better. For me, dimsum is very much a texture experience and the rice-based wraps on the cheong fan and the hagao were starchy and thick. The siumai was more meat than shrimp. The dan ta was way too flakey and had too much yolk. But it did fill a small part of my soul that was missing dimsum. Tldr: If you're missing dimsum, this is good enough. If you're picky with high standards, this won't meet them. You might as well just drive the 5 hours over to San Diego.

Delicious authentic dishes! Have been here a few times now and food/service is consistently good. I opt for the vegetarian dishes, like Mongolian tofu, a generous, perfectly spiced and sauteed portion served with white rice. My guy likes some of the more traditional dishes like the fish maw soup and chicken and salted fish fried rice. Try the latter if you want to mix things up a bit. All in all, great spot for traditional Chinese food *they offer Dim Sum too* as well as Americanized classics like beef with broccoli.

Less capacity seating available, masks worn. Some fresh food made to order.
I believe it is 10-1 both Saturday and Sunday. They run out of the best items by noon, so go early.
On the weekends. I think both days but I'd call to be sure.
