Self checkout assistant was extremely rude this afternoon. I don't mind doing my own checkout & bagging. But, I don't care for being talked down to by someone who is basically standing around doing nothing & getting paid for it. Not good PR for Fry's. I shop @ this Fry's and can honestly recommend that this old gal in self checkout retire or be retired.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Im sick of these grocery stores having multilevel coupon deals. A dozen hoops you have to jump through to get an advertised price. Then when their system doesn't process it right, their only answer is well you can still pay full price. 0 on friendliness. 0 on customer service. 0 on efficiency and ease of shopping experience. Will happily be shopping at better establishments.

Beware. Higher prices at checkout than in the shelf. Fry's appears to have a problem with consistently wrong prices, always higher at checkout. The employees are instructed to fill holes on the shelf and they often put the wrong things in empty spaces, so they appear to have a different price, again always higher at checkout. They also like to leave old sale prices up and then won't honor their mistake at checkout .. always watch prices at checkout. Also many times digital coupons don't show up especially if you scan the in-store QR code

Digital in store coupons won't download ( never do) and cashier would not honor prices. Hope you saved more money paying someone to put back the cart full of groceries I had, over just giving me the coupon savings. 2 minutes from my house, but am gonna switch to Albertsons, Bashas or Safeway. And .. They have more cashier's to check you out. Self checkout is a joke, you don't get a discount for doing their job for them.
