Had not been their in so long and it was good.. Had the family walking around and moving. But you would guess that now that they charge they would have better roads.. But its was fun and still a cheap activity to do over the weekend with the family.

First time back in a while, now they are charging to get in. (1.00 person) Not worth it. Place was a ghost town on a Friday night. Was able to stroll around the whole area less than 30 min. Use to be a lot fuller. Last time I'm going.

Website indicates this swap meet opens at 8 am Saturday morning, even the signs to the entrance of the parking lot say 8. But I’m here at 8:30 Saturday morning hoping to beat the heat, and there’s not a single vendor open or person out here.

The Tanque Verde Swapmeet is totally a Tucson staple. I went here with some friends on Saturday 10/23/21 around 1:00pm. Most of the storefronts weren't open yet and there weren't very many customers walking around. It was nice having the place to ourselves though. The vendors that where there were very friendly and had alot of fun things for sale for very low prices. There was very cool retro signage everywhere, the concessions sold beer and the weather was awesome. I want to try and come later in the day sometime soon to get the full experience. 5 stars!!!

Rent is collected for each session. Morning (til 3 pm) and then again for evening (3-11pm).

As of Oct.2020: For11 × 26' outside space (enough for 2 long foldable tables to form 'L' space, is $15- Friday from 3p.m. to 11p.m.) Sat. There are 2 rent shifts; 1st, from 7a.m. to 3p.m. is $15 & 2nd from 3p.m. to 11p.m. $20. Sunday rent is for 2p.m. to 10p.m. and rent for the 11'×26' outside space is only $10. I am a vender. The staff at Tanque Verde Swap Meet are friendly, helpful, honest and they truly want the public there. This is a family place. There are many items there that one can't find in stores. My Bracelets and Necklaces are one of the unique items that bring out individual taste. The 2 day and 3 nights we're open brings over a 1000 guests, probably many more! THIS is a place to visit and to find your item or sell your item. Everyone; customer and venders as well have fun!
