I have had extensive amount of work on one of them and they were always good at informing me why a part was needed and making sure that everything was done properly. Mark is the Most honest, kind hearted mechanic/ person we have ever worked with for our automotive repair needs. Our elderly Father was referred by a friend and we have been taking our car there ever since. You will never get " ripped off" with Mark and crew. We have taken several cars on many occasions over the course of the last 12 years. Honest, great service. One time, I left my car for some maintenance and mentioned that I was going to walk to the McDonald's to kill time and read a book. Mark & Larry fixed the car and then popped into the restaurant about an hour later to ask me if I wanted a ride back to the shop. Wow. I didn't even know service like that existed anymore.

I have taken my son's old Altima (200K+ miles) to Mark & Larry's Shell three times now. The mechanic who had previously worked on his car retired, and he wanted a trustworthy shop. All three visits have been beyond expectations. The first issue, when he had to have his car towed in, ended up being a loose and dirty battery cable. They cleaned it, put new spacers/pads between the battery post and the connector, tested it, and charged ......not ONE penny. He said, "Hey you had to pay to have it towed, and it's a simple fix, you've paid enough." The second issue was a fuel pump, and through a comedy of errors on the part of the towing company it took hours to arrive to pick up the car. Then the driver got "lost" and took more than an hour to deliver it 2-miles!! It did not arrive at Mark's shop till after 6PM and someone stayed late to make sure the car got locked up and secured for the evening. Amazing service. And today was the third issue, the power steering pressure hose and the check engine light was on. He fixed the hose, and diagnosed the issue with the light. Realizing the age of the car and understanding my son is trying to eek by with it a bit longer with minimal costs, the recommendation was to wait for that part since it was not a safety issue. The consideration was greatly appreciated. Not only do they deliver quality work at reasonable prices; Mark cares about people, and there's no better service than that. I only wish they could work on my import.
