Out of all of the home inspection companies I’ve used in the past I can say shield guard is the best. You pay for what you get and we spent a few more bucks to hire Shield Guard because of his reviews and reputation within the real estate community. You can tell the difference between a “licensed home inspector “ and a home inspector how has construction experience and understands construction science. The report and conversation I had after the inspection allowed me to have a clear picture of what was going on. When purchasing property home inspection reports in general advise to repair or replace. Well these guys broke down what was REALLY important and what was needed to put in the report to cover themselves for liability. The conversation with the inspector at the end is what’s the most important when supplemented with the report. In the past I’ve skipped out on inspections and prior to shield guard I’ve went with the “cheaper” inspector . BIG MISTAKE! The Shield Guard team is the way to go! Great experience, informative report and reasonably priced vs hiring an architect or multiple professionals who have similar knowledge
