Everytime I need to get back in touch with nature I come here to find peace of mind and seek God's divine inspiration. This is one of my favorite park to visit in town. It has stunning views of the mountains, beautiful sunsets to be captured and many different creatures of the desert can be seen in their natural habitats. Roadrunners, quails, coyotes, javalinas, dragonflies, butterflies, bees, lizards, cardinals, deers, and much more. It offers many wonderful hiking trails also. A fishing pond. A short walk from a public library. Playgrounds and ball fleids. I hope in the future the park opens up the outdoor theatre area for events as it is truly one of a kind to enjoy in the evening with the stars shining above. The park is always kept clean and the staff are kind enough to wave while attending to their duties. I highly recommend a visit to this park. God bless the nature and creation all surrounding. 🙏✌️

This park offers a popular fishing lake, several searing areas, ramadas and fire pits. You can expect a good mix of Sonoran and more traditional park. Say hi to the ducks that enjoy roaming the shores of the lake. A good getaway from the city.

A beautiful little park in the middle of nowhere. I took a walk around the tiny lake and took some pictures. I hope you will like them.

Very beautiful park. An almost unbelievably nice fishing lake. Many trails and miles of walking to enjoy. Plenty of wild life, plants, and views to take in. Be mindful of rattle snakes!

Security reasons
As long as the dogs are on a leash, I don't believe there's a fenced dog area. If you're looking for a park that offers a fenced dog area so you could take your dog off the leash try silverbell Park or Jacob's Park those are the two I like going to at least. I hope this helps you out a little and have fun with your fur babies
I don't believe dogs are allowed to swim in the lake at all. It is stocked with fish and natural Birds and most dogs I have ever seen have been either on a leash or very close to their owners. It's a beautiful Lake and if you bring your dog on a leash at least he or she can Frolic at the water's edge. I hope this helps! It's one of the most lovely places to go especially during a weekday afternoon when no one is around or very few people are around. So beautiful and peaceful.
For catfish, we found that chicken liver, corn and hotdogs worked the best for us. It's a hit or miss on if we catch anything though.
Yes a public pool.
