This Safeway was like most. Lots of parking. Lots of food. It didn't have and small containers of whole milk that we were looking for, but had a lot of other kinds of milk. It felt overly cold inside to me, which I'm sure would feel great to some others. Prices were a little higher than I'm used to from others I've been to.

Since they started to close the regular checkout lanes in the evening hours, thereby forcing everyone to use self-checkout, I no longer shop here. At the nearby Albertson's, so far, they don't do that, so the only reason I would ever shop here is when I also need something from the Dollar Tree next door. In discussions on social media, I seldom find anyone who enjoys the experience of self-checkout, so one can only assume that Safeway is trying to reduce the hours of their (unionized) workforce.
