Best Friday Night Magic around, great turn out. Every so often there is an additional special Sunday Magic event with a strong showing of people. D&D on Wednesdays is really good Tuesday 40k night has some great new things going on.

I wanted to share my experience at Battleground and point out the actions of Suzanne there in particular. My son is interested in Warhammer miniatures. He doesn't really like to play the game, but loves to paint and display the miniatures. So, being a gamer but never having played Warhammer, I went to Battleground last year to get him some miniatures. Now being a relative newbie to this part of gaming, it would have been so easy to upsell me on some of the more expensive sets. But I had the fortune to be helped by Suzanne who steered me away from the set I had initially set my eye on to something far more reasonable. My son loved it! This year I returned as he is even more excited to paint miniatures, and again Suzanne was there. She was amazingly helpful, remembering what we'd discussed a year earlier, and pointing me toward some miniatures a little more challenging to paint. Thanks to her I will be buying all my gaming supplies (and board games) from Battleground in the future!

Fantastic place to get all your RPG, board games and more! Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful! I've bought plenty of items from them for the last couple years and I've never once had a bad experience or even a just ok one, every time has been great or phenomenal!

Great selection of games, board, electronic, you name it. I'm not into card games, but looked like there was more than anyone could ask for in that genre of gaming. Adults, kids, adult kids, enough to go around for any kind of person. Service seemed lacking, and/or their social skills need some polishing. Then again, I am a 'muscled American', and perhaps they aren't typically graced with the presence of someone of my ilk, esp. in a gaming arena. I too enjoy games, let's not look to the cover and not realize we are quite similar. In any case, the place itself is abundant with what it sells, and the quality is adequate. Darius' Verdict: Service: C- Games: A Overall: B
